MORNING BRUNCH

During an Autumn walk with one of my friends, we stopped on the beautiful streets of Chelsea to take some shots and admire the architecture. No matter how many times I take the time out to stroll through certain areas of West London, I’m always taken aback by the sheer elegance of the townhouses, the restaurants, the shops and the eclectic fashion that comes in abundance in the place I like to call home.
After recently receiving some pieces from a new brand Open, I decided to style them for a morning walk and brunch with a friend.

Both the jacket and the jumper are from Open and they integrated perfectly into my smart casual brunch look. I decided to smarten up the jumper and layer it with a simple pale blue shirt. I then paired it with some slim fit linen trousers and a classic pair of tasseled loafers.
I’ve been looking for a jacket like this for quite some time so when I spotted this one I knew I had to have it. It’s unlike my other coats which, as you will have spotted, all tend to be knee length overcoats; so its a refreshing change to have something a little more versatile. I love all the little details on the pockets and I even loved the lining so much I thought it deserved a picture! A definite must have for someone who likes items that can be trans-seasonal.

For the accessories I decided to stick with the classics so my trusty Mulberry ‘Brynmore’ messenger bag and a plaited belt also from the brand tied the look together.
